GUNT Technology was delighted to exhibit at the Practical Engineering Education Conference 2026 (PEE26), held over two days last week at the University of Edinburgh. The event brought together engineering educators, academics and technical professionals from across the UK, providing an excellent opportunity to discuss the future of practical engineering education.

Throughout the conference, our team welcomed a steady stream of visitors to the GUNT Technology stand, where delegates watched live demonstrations of a selection of our engineering training systems. These included the HM 250 – Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, the SE 200 | MEC Line – Engineering Mechanics, and our DigiSkills range, covering Engineering Drawing & Technical Communication, Dimensional Metrology and Preventive Maintenance.

The event also provided an ideal platform to introduce visitors to our latest H2Skills and Green Hydrogen Training Equipment. There was significant interest in hydrogen technologies and sustainable engineering education, with many discussions focusing on how institutions can equip students with the practical skills needed to support the transition to cleaner energy.

PEE26 provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with existing customers while also meeting new contacts from universities, colleges and training providers. The level of interest shown by delegates in hands-on, industry-relevant teaching solutions reinforced the growing importance of practical engineering education in developing the next generation of engineers.

We would like to thank the organisers of PEE26 for hosting another excellent conference, and everyone who visited the GUNT Technology stand over the two days. We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting engineering education providers with innovative, high-quality training equipment.
